MyPay Agent
MyPay Agent is a person or business that is contracted to facilitate MyPay transactions for MyPay users.
- An entity authorized by MyPay Financial solutions LTD to provide MyPay Services.
- A business partner, generating extra income/revenue stream.
Types of MyPay Agents and Requirements for Registration
Type A
These are small to medium businesses that have informal business operations and do not have much of a network presence.
Examples:
- Tuck-shops
- Street vendor
Requirements for Registration for MyPay Agent Type A are as follows:
- One (1) or more business outlet
- Secure and safe operating premises
- Ability to support and grow the MyPay agent network
Documents to be provided upon registration are as follows:
- Completed MyPay Agent application forms.
- Trading or council license
- Agent assessment form
- Applicants ID
Type B
These are large companies have formal business operations and have a network of more than one store.
Examples:
- Medium to large corporations
- Supermarkets
- Filling stations
- Building and construction stores
- SMEs
Requirements for registration are as follows:
- One (1) or more business outlet
- Equipment and technical ability to support and grow the MyPay agent network
- Minimum trading period of six (6) months
- Agent should be legally incorporated
- Demonstrated or known branch network/outlets (documented)
- Technical capacity (owing to integration requirements)
- Adherence to ‘Principal’s’ Compliance/Operational requirements
- Secure and safe operating premises
Documents to be provided upon registration are as follows:
- Completed MyPay Agent application forms.
- Certificate of Incorporation or Certificate of Registration.
- TPIN Certificate
- Copies of IDs for the Administration Officers and Agent assistants as indicated in the application forms.
- Agent assessment form.
